First devlog

Greetings, welcome to my first dev log for Depths of Valor.

Depths of Valor is, as described on the project page, a mash up of many genres and ideas. It is primarily a rogue lite metroidvania.

There will be 3 characters to play as:

The Wizard is playable in the prototype available now.  He uses various spells which can be charged for powerful effects, as well as martial arts.

The Fighter is currently being developed.  He wields a spear, giving him longer melee range for combo attacks, and has special abilities that channel while you hold the ability button, until they run out of charges, which recover during a cooldown.

The Cleric will be revealed in a future devlog.
